Esprit in Electronics Sourcing
2013 was a year of investment, opportunity and growth for Hampshire based electronics manufacturing services provider, Esprit Electronics
Following a deliberate investment plan and targeted sales strategy, which included exhibiting for the first time at Southern Manufacturing, Esprit Electronics had a year to remember in 2013.
Account Manager, Russell Otter, explained: “We enjoyed a fantastic year. Investment in capital equipment continued in 2013 where 2012 left off, with the addition of a new I-Pulse M20 surface mount line and Ersa Ecoselect 2 selective flow solder line. We’ve invested heavily in personnel including IPC specialist training to J-STD-001 for 20 of our operators and lean awareness training for the management team, as we continue on our lean manufacturing journey. Not to mention the on-going refurbishment and expansion of both our Hamble and Swanwick facilities, particularly the enhancement to our box build and general assembly capability”.
”All of this investment, allied to the progressive nature of the business and its management team, has helped us not only to support and develop our existing customers, but also to secure significant new business from within the security and communications, professional instrumentation and building controls sectors.”
With further investment already committed for a second Mirtec M3VL automated optical inspection (AOI) machine, a second visit to Southern Manufacturing in February and a first visit as exhibitors to ES LIVE in May, 2014 promises to be an equally exciting year for Esprit Electronics.
