Esprit Electronics Software Guarantees Bill of Materials Order Part Accuracy

Electronics Manufacturing Services provider Esprit Electronics has teamed up with Silicon Expert – a leading component data supplier for the electronics industry. Esprit is now licensed to use the proprietary software, which guarantees Bill of Materials (BOM) order part accuracy.

Through Silicon Expert data, which contains information on over 300 million semiconductors, passive and electromechanical components, Esprit now has the ability to provide accurate, fast and efficient BOM ‘scrubbing’ for its customers. It also enables the firm to produce proactive data on BOM Health, lifecycle statuses, part selection risk, multi-sourcing options, environmental regulation compliance and inventory availability.

Silicon Expert also provides the latest conflict minerals data; producing reports on the origin of tin, tantalum, gold, and tungsten in components as well as their conflict mineral status.

By adding Silicon Expert to its already expansive in-house resources Esprit has enhanced the level of value-add service it provides to its customer base by no longer relying on OEM contacts and distributors for component status updates.
