2 New I-Pulse Machines

At a time when many Contract Electronics Manufacturers are happy to consolidate their position, Esprit Electronics continues to invest for growth. With its broad service offer & exceptional levels of customer support, Esprit has enjoyed enviable growth despite difficult economic conditions. However, with growth comes the challenge of maintaining the high standards that customers have rightly come to expect.

To this end & following the successful opening of a new 7000 Sq ft manufacturing facility in Swanwick, Hampshire in March 2010, Esprit Electronics has continued in its programme of investment with the addition of 2 new I-Pulse M6EX pick & place machines.

Managing Director at Esprit Electronics, Laurie Sigournay, said “Our success is founded on a companywide ethos to provide customers with quality product, on time & competitively priced whilst always maintaining the highest levels of customer service & support”.

“We are committed to maintaining & improving the service that we provide to our customers & we recognise that investment is key particularly during this continued & sustained period of growth. We feel that this latest investment in conjunction with the recent opening & continued expansion of our Swanwick facility underlines this commitment”.

Each machine boasts impressive figures of 18,600 component placements per hour. Add to this the flexibility & efficiency savings offered through off-line feeder set-up & the exceptional performance of Blundell Production Equipment in the service & support role & selection was easy.

Sigournay concludes, “The addition of these new machines supplements our existing M4 & M2 I-Pulse & Contacts lines adding an impressive 37,400 component placements per hour to our surface mount capacity; an absolute necessity if we are to remain CEM of choice for our customers”.
